Here at Netphiles we know school keeps students on edge with class assignments, research papers, long study nights, and to-do lists. To make all those things happen you need to have the proper tools.  You can now enjoy a FREE subscription to Microsoft® Office while you’re at FSU.

Thanks to the Information Technology Services (ITS) department, anyone who’s taken classes within the previous two semesters and hasn’t yet graduated has access to the full version of Microsoft® Office 365 ProPlus for free through the Microsoft® Student Advantage program.

FSU’s website has this statement from the ITS Associate Vice President and CIO, Michael Barrett, “Having access to the Microsoft® tools will help students be successful while at Florida State and also help prepare them to be sought-after employees in today’s competitive workforce.”

With this free subscription, students can install Microsoft® Office with their myFSU email account. Installation is easy, and doesn’t take long with the installation guides found on the Microsoft® Office 365 ProPlus website.

The subscriptions allow installations on up to five computers (PC or Mac) and up to five Android or iPhone mobile devices means you can access study files, incomplete papers, and complex excel documents multiple devices, anytime, anywhere. And in addition to saving money ($144 per year, to be exact), students will also receive automatic updates.

The programs/apps included are: Word®, Excel®, PowerPoint®, OneNote®, Access®, Publisher®, Outlook® and InfoPath®.  Program availability may differ on the current operating system you’re using.
